Description: Adds [Jewel Type] options to item(s). Drag the Jewel to item you want. The number of functions you can add is equal to the number of sockets.
There are 5 types of Jewels: Novice (Purple), Standard (Yellow), Advanced (Green), Supreme (Blue) and Chaos (Silver).
Jewels are a special type of item that can give your equipment a permanent, irreversible buff. Using a Jewel on equipment uses up a Socket; if the number of sockets is 0, no jewels can be used on the item. When a Jewel is used, it cannot be retrieved, so use them wisely. It is advised that you just save up and combine Jewels to be used on your endgame equipment.
Jewel Buffs Edit
Jewels can only give one buff per Jewel. Combining Jewels rerolls & improves what the Jewel can give; however combining Jewels may not necessarily result in a Jewel with a bigger buff (a novice jewel with +4 STR combined with 2 other novice jewels may result in a standard jewel with +3 VIT).
Below is a table of the types of buffs possibly given and the recorded best buff amount per type of Jewel. Naturally, any higher level Jewel should be able to give a better buff than any Jewel below it.
Well, in fact, a supreme jewel is able to give as good a buff as a chaos jewel. So my advice is: Do not try to combine a chaos jewel, the result, most of the time, is dissatisfying. Chaos Jewels are also not used in the "Unique Items" mode of fusion machines because they use supreme jewels for creating even the Rank S equipments.
